About Clare

 

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, our family moved to the Isle of Man when I was 10 years old.  After school, I was passionate about changing the education system, so I embarked on a three-year teacher-training degree in Waldorf Education at Plymouth University.  I soon realised I was better suited to one on one work, so I pursued a Masters in Counselling. 

 

I was drawn to the 3-year Master's in Integral Counselling at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco,  mainly because of the balance it provided between the Western and Eastern perspectives of our complex minds.

Despite offering me many opportunities to discover myself, I was still seeking answers to many questions I had about our psyche and our capacity to heal and evolve. The two-year certification in Intuition Medicine (energy work) in Sausalito offered a beautifully holistic lens through which to view people's ailments (body and mind). 

 

I moved to Canada during that time, and continued my counselling work with various organizations before starting my private practice.  I am currently residing in the UK where I continue my professional and personal growth through courses and working with mentors from across the world.  I am committed to learning, being the best I can be, and providing quality for my clients.
